digital marketing specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist is analytical, strategic, collaborative and excited about digital marketing and new technology. S/he oversees marketing campaigns for client and uses data to inform the digital strategy and overall marketing. The specialist will responsible for managing SEM (SEO + Paid Search) and Display Advertising.
 
  • Develop and evaluate digital media plan recommendations and work with account team to present them to clients, including digital media, metaconnect, social media, and mobile advertising opportunities
    • Work closely with Production Coordinator to help facilitate media implementations
    • Correspond with the Director of Client Services and Creative Director to improve internal processes
    • Coordinate with creative team to create ad concepts and effective messaging for campaigns
  • Collaborate with and direct outside media publications regarding paid digital campaigns consisting of search, display, mobile, social, video, and experiential
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to analyze campaign performance in order to highlight successes and/or find areas of improvement
  • Strategically plan and manage SEO and PPC campaigns
    • Write creative ad copy for GoogleAds, Bing, & social media ad campaigns in collaboration with the AE team
    • Develop research-based keyword strategies
    • Utilize A/B testing of new campaign strategies and ad copy
    • Identify and utilize audience verticals
    • Encourage revenue, traffic and lead growth through managing, maintaining and optimizing media campaigns by analyzing KPIs
      • Produce innovative recommendations to increase revenue and/or website traffic growth
    • Coordinate with Creative Development Team to create effective HTML5 ad concepts and messaging for display media campaigns
  • Analyze websites and made strategic recommendations to ensure the full potential for the website in organic search engine results
    • Draft Meta Tags and optimized content with strategic keywords
    • Create XML Site Maps and Robots.txt files to control search engine indexing and monitored Google Webmaster Portal for potential issues
    • Utilize A/B testing of landing page content
  • Data analysis, reporting on monthly campaign performance, and strategic consulting
    • Lead regular client calls to discuss campaign performance, optimization strategies and new growth opportunities
    • Provide recommendations to improve performance
    • Monitor rankings and traffic across multiple accounts and provided in depth analysis of performance
  • Train in-house and client team members in SEM strategies, tactics, and best practices

Requirements


  • 3-5 years of experience in digital media planning, SEO, and PPC
  • Expertise in GoogleAds and Google Analytics; experience independently managing accounts with budgets of $10K/mo+
    • Expertise in building paid digital strategies as well as recommending and carrying out strategic optimizations to help improve and grow campaign performance
    • Experience with tagging, tracking, and reporting in digital media
    • Working knowledge of Google Datastudio a plus
    • GoogleAds and Google Analytics Certification Courses a plus
  • Expertise in Facebook Ads Manager
  • Strong communication skills for both internal and external strategy sessions and phone calls
  • Genuine interest in internet trends and staying on top of digital platform updates.
  • Passion for social media, curiosity for all things digital and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to effectively explain strategies using verbal and written communication
  • Fluency in DoubleClick, DoubleClick Search, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google Tag Manager, verification tools (IAS, Double Verify)
  • Familiarity with DMPs, web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics), DSPs (AppNexus, DoubleClick Bid Manager), media mix modeling, and multi-touch attribution a plus
  • Collaborative attitude when working with multiple teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
